Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder of Salvation Ministries, has stirred conversations with his message to Christians about paying their tithes ahead of buying Christmas clothes.
The cleric warned believers against spending money on festive outfits when they have yet to fulfil their tithing obligations.
“Don’t buy Christmas clothes when you haven’t paid your tithes; it’s very dangerous,” Pastor David Ibiyeomie said.
His statement comes as many families prepare for the Christmas season by making plans to purchase new clothes and other items for the celebration.
The pastor’s message emphasises the importance he places on tithing, urging Christians to prioritise their religious commitments rather than focus solely on festive spending.
