MAKOGI-MAGBORO, OGUN STATE – Residents of the Makogi-Magboro area in Ogun State were thrown into panic on Tuesday after a man dressed as a woman, complete with a hijab, was apprehended while allegedly roaming the community with a sharp knife.
A viral video circulating on social media shows the suspect, now partially undressed, sitting on a wooden bench in what appears to be a dimly lit open area. He is seen wearing remnants of women’s clothing, including stockings and a skirt-like garment, with visible injuries around his eyes and face. The man appears distressed as he speaks to those confronting him, while a sharp object resembling a knife lies nearby on the ground.
According to eyewitness accounts shared in the video and accompanying posts, the individual was caught moving suspiciously through the neighborhood in female disguise. Locals, upon discovering the disguise, confronted and restrained him, raising immediate security concerns amid ongoing fears of crime, ritual activities, and banditry in parts of Ogun State.
